Local municipal delegation visits Jordanian field hospital in Nablus

Ramallah, May 31 (Petra) -- The Jordanian field hospital in Nablus has provided medical care and treatment to approximately 350,000 cases and performed around 3,000 surgeries since its establishment in November 2023, the military commander of the facility said on Sunday.
The figures were shared during a visit by Nablus Mayor Anan Al-Atteereh, accompanied by municipal council members and staff, to offer Eid Al-Adha greetings to the hospital’s management and medical personnel.
The commander of the Jordanian Field Hospital / Nablus 10 force stated that the field hospitals operate under the direct directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to provide healthcare to Palestinians across several locations, supporting their resilience and easing their hardships. He expressed pride in the mission's work on Palestinian land.
Al-Atteereh praised the efforts of King Abdullah, the Jordan Armed Forces, and the Kingdom’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people, highlighting the vital medical services the hospital delivers to the residents of the Nablus governorate.
The mayor described the field hospital as a model of brotherhood and solidarity between the Palestinian and Jordanian peoples, commending the high professionalism of the medical and administrative staff in enhancing local healthcare.
The visit included a tour of the hospital’s various departments, where the mayor and municipal council members reviewed the medical specialties and healthcare services available at the facility.
